#104T Don August



This isn't even close to August's rookie card, as he had on Olympic card in the 1985 Topps set. (See here.)

Speaking of the Olympics, the best word on the back is "thrill."

    Don's 5.57 ERA at Denver in 1987 probably wasn't that bad. But if you're going to pitch at altitude, have a 5.57 ERA and walk 3/game, you might want to strike out more than 4.5/game.
